Where to start. We loved everything down to the smallest detail at The Stop. Everybody was incredibly attentive and kind from the minute we walked in to the moment we closed the door behind us when we left. The place itself was clean and beautifully put together. And the breakfast, wow. We had the shakshuka the first morning and the scrambled eggs and bacon the second. Definitely recommend both — especially the shakshuka. The flavours were delicious and the attention to detail in the presentation was great. We also LOVED the home baked cookies left every evening, and the freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. Russels and everyone also had lots of great recommendations for places to go close by and markets or events on any particular day. The location is also ideal, walking distance to the city centre. We couldn’t fault The Stop at all even if we wanted to. It was warm, cosy and homey with a fantastic attention to detail throughout. And we honestly can’t wait to come back!! Thanks to everyone at The Stop for making our stay in Galway one to remember!

Really good communication from the host. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotless and well stocked with essentials. Location is perfect near the end of the prom in Salthill. Ground floor apartment so easy to access and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was a good size but the shower is tiny, for any larger or taller person it would be a little uncomfortable, other than that the room was perfect and comfortable. The hostel is a little further away from the crowds but the bus was very easy to take and go anywhere.

My family loved that upon entrance to the hotel, there was a really cool children's club with all kinds of activities to sign up for, right across from the check-in desk! The main lobby is welcoming, relaxing and elegant. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast included was something to write home about!! Thank-you for a wonderful stay❤️

The place is over a pub . Easily accessible. It has parking. The host let us check in at a later hour. He was very accommodating. He agreed to change the room upon noticing the first one had no heating. The second one had working heating .
It has warm water, good breakfast.
