Amazing view of the Ganges, friendly staff--- This is my wonderful fate with Varanasi! I lived in the same guest house five years ago. I stood on the balcony of the same room and saw the same view of the Ganges River, but the operator has changed. The current owner and his team are very friendly and willing to help people, a lot People encounter a lot of sales in the guest house, but not here at all, they only help you when you need, their service is warm and attentive, but not pushy, the owner took me out to buy dinner, and also made dinner for me. I stayed here for 3 days, the room has been better with some new decorations, better than when I came 5 years ago, the view of the Ganges from the balcony is amazing, I had a great time in Varanasi

Ganpati Guest House is really good place to stay in Varanasi, definitely worth of money. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and decent. Rooftop restaurant with amazing view.

I booked the place for the view. It served the purpose. You can watch activities happening by the Ganges very easily. Priya the receptionist lady has been very helpful. I booked for a one night but stayed 2 more nights. Accessing the ghats is very easy. Though the hotel is situated distance from the Main Street, hotel staff helped me to get my luggage. Food is okay. They prepare at the place itself once the order is given. I liked lemon ginger honey tea. They arrange airport pick up for Rs 1000. Very reasonable since it’s 22/23km and 1 hour drive. One of the smoothest airport pickups I had.

The caretaker - Anil was on hand all the time to help. He helped navigate our way round Varanasi. He kept the apartment clean and safe. We weer a party of 3 adults. The location is ideal with views from 3 rooms of the Gangha.
