The most beautiful houseboat ive ever seen. The lake was so perfect, peaceful, idyllic, calm and very romantic, like something out of a noval. Yaseen, his brothers and family were so accommodating and the staff were fabulous! Breakfast and supper were incredible. We were spoilt rotten. We also bought an incredible Kashmiri silk carpet which they are sending back to the uk for us that will remind us of this time forever. Thank you guys we LOVED IT!

This houseboat is located on the smaller and quieter Nigeen Lake. There are 2 bedrooms and we were lucky that we had the whole boat to ourselves for 5 days. We ate most of our meals on the boat and they were really tasty. Yusuf is a wonderful host and he was always ready to help or answer questions about the area. He makes the best Kahwa in Kashmir!

Warm and friendly welcome; much laughter was had. A fun and relaxed atmosphere in a stunning setting on peaceful Lake Nageen. Family-run with extraordinary home-made Kashmiri food. Imtiyaz, an excellent guide, took us round Srinagar and up into the mountains, again definitely worth doing. Whether watching the kites and kingfishers at sunset or watching the shikaras paddle past, it is a balm for the soul.
I could go on, but suffice to say go and stay on the Lily of Nageen.

Ali, his son, is equally amazing. He’s also an expert when it comes to planning tours across Jammu & Kashmir. The houseboat is very pretty, cozy, and extremely safe. The surrounding water was lush and dotted with birds, making for wonderful all-day scenery. The food was amazing! I had breakfast and dinner made with love from the family. The portion and quality is exceptional to the price.
