The Hostel Stories in Varkala is an incredibly friendly place to stay if you're visiting Varkala. I’ve been there for three weeks, and from the very first day, I felt at home—even though it was my first time in India! The hostel has a beautiful garden with hammocks, chairs, and fruit trees, always filled with good vibes and friendly people to chat with. The atmosphere is both calm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with other travelers while also having space to relax on your own. If you're traveling solo, I promise you won’t feel lonely! There’s also a lovely terrace where you can practice yoga early in the morning, hang your clothes to dry, or simply lie back and watch the stars at night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hostel is just a short walk from the South Cliff, where you’ll find the amazong ocean, cafés, restaurants, and all the shops you might need. A huge thank you to Pintu and all the staff at the hostel—you made my stay unforgettable!

- Perfect location in a not very busy are of Varkala, close to beautiful cliffs - Access to the beach was very easy from the resort - Resort is front beach and you can hear the sound of the sea - Comfortable bed, spacious and well eqquiped rooms, everything clean - Amazing staff and owner. Arrived and greeted with coffee—off to a great start! Meeting the dogs made it even better. Had a quick chat with Sid, swapped WhatsApp numbers, and he was super helpful throughout my stay. He sorted a ride to Sandy Beach, shared tips for Christmas events, and was always quick to respond to messages. I stayed for three days, and the room was spotless, spacious, and had such a cozy vibe. The room was cleaned with fresh towels during my short stay. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. Each evening, I’d get the breakfast menu via WhatsApp, so I could pick from a wide variety of options and choose a convenient time. Christmas morning felt extra special with bacon, sausage, and eggs—such a treat! The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. It was the perfect place to spend the Christmas period, and they really made it feel special. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Devi Kripa Residency is a very nice, comfortable, clean place with a very good location. We extend our stay because it was really good time and we felt there like at home. Another plus is fridge, washing mashine and kitchen 🙂 Highly reccomend

I had a wonderful stay at Kallayi Beachside Retreat. The location is calm, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway by the beach.
