The staff were so friendly and welcoming, every one of them from reception, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and the cleaning staff all went that extra mile to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is very warm and cosy and provided free coffee and cakes at reception throughout the day. It was -13 when we were there and Iceland was covered with snow.. The room was cosy open plan and had a kitchen island so we had fresh wster and coffee making facilities. At the back of Kvosin Downtown Hotel we got the best photographs of the Northern Lights. It is very central, everything was in walking distance fron the Ice bar, the Rainbow street, restaurants cafes and shops, most tour bus stop were within 2 minutes from the hotel.

Great place, great value. Staff was nice. Place is pretty new so all the amenities are top notch quality. The were some large lockers beneath the bed that can fit 2 suitcases, it was so useful, loved that. Best hostel I did in Iceland !

Right in the city center. Everything was perfect for my stay here. The host was helpful and responded very quickly to a query. The room was perfect for me traveling alone or for a couple. Delicious fish and chips shop across the road! Supermarket around the corner! Easy (5 to 20 minutes) walk to a range of tourist destinations, shops and bus stops. I loved it. I personally would have liked a blind on the glass panel in the door for night time, so I just hung the throw blanket provided on the sofa there.

Steinunn is such a great host! She gave us some amazing tips and because of that we had the most incredible days in Iceland. The B&B is really a home away from home. The room was amazing, so cute and comfy with a really nice bath to relax in every day. The breakfast was really good and healthy. Very near to the beautiful Reykjavik Centre (one minute walk) but no noise from the town in the B&B. Absolutely everything was amazing. My boyfriend and I are used to travelling around the world, but Iceland and this B&B is unlike anything we have ever seen. Thank you so much Steinunn, we will definitely come back!
