There are so many positives to list. It is a small hotel that occupies part of a converted mansion in the heart of the historic city center. The hotel portion is completely modernized. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and the staff become your friends.

The rooms are in an old building just across Palazzo Pitti, there is a bus stop there, the old city center is a short walk away, there are several restaurants and a big supermarket nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful, we could check into our room already in the morning when we arrived, which was very helpful. The room was perfectly clean (there is daily cleaning), the bed was very comfortable which is always a big + in our book. :) There was complimentary coffee, tea and mineral water in the room, restocked daily. We loved staying there, it was close enough to the sights to just go "home" during the day for a quick rest or change.

Outstanding hotel, beautifully decorated, you are essentially sleeping in an art gallery and no detail is left unnoticed. We loved the walk in shower and the bed felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Roberta was incredibly helpful in booking a taxi early morning for us - thank you very much. Plentiful breakfast laid out in the main room with fireplace, art and a piano.

Excellent central location yet quiet. Clean rooms that are well appointed. Friendly and welcoming host Dario is often around to ask if everything is OK or if there’s anything you need. Useful local advice and will arrange a taxi for you on the day of departure

The property was perfectly located within walking distance to all the things gd we wanted to do. It was a very roomy apartment with wooden beams and furnished well for our needs. Barbara and Paolo were good hosts and helped us with any of our needs.
