Perfect location with a very nice view,,, just a walking distance to piazza del Campo, Duomo and many other places within the center. The room was very clean and the host was so nice. This place is not for everyone. There is no elevator and you will not have the amenities of a typical hotel. My husband and I were in Italy for two weeks and we stayed in many hotels in 5 cities. This was my favorite by far, and we stayed an extra night. The decor feels like you are stepping in late 18th or early 19th century. Our room had a frescoed ceiling and there was an adjacent communal sitting room for coffee and tea. It was comfortable, not posh and close to everything. It was authentic and Italian and we were the only Americans there at the time. I hope to stay there again.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome! The rooms were very nice: full of history but with all the modern facilities, and very, very clean. The location is very central, yet in a slightly more quiet corner of the city. Just a 5 minute walk to the main square, making it a perfect place to explore Siena from! Would definitely recommend!
