My time at Aretusa Vacanze was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, it stands out as the best accommodation experience I've had in over 13 years. The hotel, housed in a beautifully maintained Baroque building, offers spacious and impeccably clean rooms with a charming Sicilian historical touch. Perfectly situated for exploring Ortigia. Giuseppe, the hotels manager, is extremely service minded and bends over backwards to make your stay as perfect as possible. You can always reach him and he recommends trips and restaurants of his own liking (no kick-backs so far as I can tell). The room was clean, spacious and had a small balcony perfect for having a glass of wine when the night sets in. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace, but I only visited it once (it was too hot!).
