If you are traveling to Japan with children, especially 13 or younger, Holy Planet was a godsend. It has a ton of fun things to do, with cool video games and secret rooms/passages. It is also supplied with a ton of snacks, including a shaved ice machine and popcorn maker. We stayed here prior to returning home, it kept the kids occupied while we got ready for our international travel day. The host was super nice and gave us a tour of how all the facilities worked when we arrived. Lots of restaurants nearby, and they were not expensive as it is not located in a touristy area.

This is a very nice place in a safe, quite area. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within an easy walk. It is also very close to the subway, making access to other locations in Tokyo very easy. There is also a playground nearby, which was perfect for our kids. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the accommodations very comfortable. I am very glad we found it!

The space was clean and very comfortable for our family of three. Kind host that met us on arrival. Great neighborhood location with easy access to the subway with several small restaurants around the apartment. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had very basic amenities.

The house is furnished and decorated in a traditional Japanese style. Everything is spotless and beautiful. The neighbourhood is not at all touristy. It feels like a quiet residential area and yet it’s only a short walk from two different train stations with easy access to central Tokyo.

Amazing location: 15 + 5 mins from Tokyo Station, super convenient to get to Akibabara, Ueno, Yanaka Ginza. The comfiest mattresses: Yes, not futons but really good proper mattresses. Great, solid sheets and pillows as well. Neatly organized, brand new bathroom, perfect aircon. Easily enough space for 3 big adults, and there's a 4th mattress for even a 4th person as well. Excellent value!
