Stylish Ryokan, friendly staff and 2 shared onsen and 2 private baths.
The Japanese rooms were very traditional and the food in the upstairs dining room was exquisite. Snow crab cooked in different ways featured four times in the seasonal menu.
I would highly recommend this place.

We had the best time at Shinzan Kinosaki! The staff was friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room during our check-in and we were absolutely blown away by the place and treatment. Extremely clean, beautiful and luxurious feeling. Both the dinner and breakfast were amazing experiences, it was fun to walk around in the yukata provided by the hotel and the onsen experience itself was very nice. Absolutely nothing negative to highlight, We will definitely return during our next visit to Japan!

Perfect location with enclosed balcony overlooking the river, within easy walking distance of all seven onsens. The attentive service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including catering for us being vegetarian. The ryokan and room were stunning and the private onsen a treat!

The staff were so kind and helpful and very attentive to their guests. We felt so welcome and they went the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable. When they heard it was our honeymoon they were sure to make us little notes on our table for dinner which was very sweet.
The photos do not do this place justice it's got an amazing atmosphere and feels very very special
Be sure to treat yourself to their dinner option!!

This was a great place to stay with every comfort and great attention to detail. It was very quiet and I slept very well. There is a general store across the road so it was easy to pick up snacks etc. also only 3 minutes from the main street where there are many cafes and restaurants. Thank you!
