The hotel owner, Michael, is an absolute sweetheart - nice, genuine, and full of great tips for exploring Phnom Penh. Plus, the staff are warm and friendly, you'll feel like part of the family Dado Restaurant is a true gem in Phnom Penh. The food is amazing, with both local and Western dishes expertly prepared and hygienic. The service is top-notch and super quick. Location: the hotel's a bit out of the way from city center, but very convenient in other ways. I can hop on a tuk-tuk and be in the city in 20 minutes. The hotel's got a trusted driver who always gives me fair prices. The local market just right on my doorstep. I can grab delicious street food at any hour, and it's super affordable. Also, getting to/from the airport is only 20 minutes away

This is truly a very beautiful boutique hotel. This property used to be the French administration unit so it reserved the French colonial architecture and building. I read somewhere saying their building was restored in 2011, with the help of the Heritage Mission of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the support of the French Embassy. The lobby has a small fish pond, trees, some exhibitions (paintings and stuff) along the walkway, a well-functioned spa, a very nice outdoor swimming pool and great restaurants (I have a fine dining dinner at a French restaurant upstairs (La Pergola - you get discount as a hotel guest) and breakfast at another one near the pool). The food here is so good, you do not need to go out to have proper eating. This place is like a tranquil getaway, a green oasis to relax after a busy day. I highly recommend it. It sometimes hosts some cocktail functions for business chambers. This place also has a working/business lounge for busy people working, or reading a book. Their General Manager is also very friendly and approachable. I like this place very much. I will come back if I visit Phnom Penh again in the next few months.

Our stay at the Hotel Peninsula in Phnom Penh was simply exceptional. The mini apartment we stayed in was stunning—immaculately clean, fully equipped, and with a breathtaking view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed every moment spent there. The pool was marvelous, offering a refreshing escape, and we were delighted by the delicious hamburgers served at dinner. The gym was well-equipped and very well-maintained, and the shower in our room was simply amazing!!! A special mention goes to the staff, whose kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay memorable. We would like to specifically thank Ms. Mouy, Ms. Molika, and Ms. Ravan for their exceptional care and service—they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. While the hotel is not right in the city center, the location is still very convenient. It's just a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the heart of Phnom Penh, and there are plenty of bars, supermarkets, and other amenities nearby. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Peninsula for anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming place to stay in Phnom Penh.
