It's a beautiful, impeccably appointed, independent room with a sitting area and a small courtyard. None of the cramped feel of some hotel rooms. Wide, comfortable bed. Good shower. It all seems new in Dec 2024. The charming host lives in the building and has clearly put a lot of thought into everything, right down to the complimentary ear plugs. I'm sensitive to street noise but I didn't find it a problem. The location is not exactly central but there are plenty of cafes/restaurants in the vicinity. The host is happy to advise if necessary.

I had stayed in this room for 2 days. 5 stars for affordable price. I was worried about my not-so-good English, but all staff members bent over backwards to help me. Fair distance from have fun night in colombo city or Port city.

5 star hotel. Room bit outdated. Otherwise confortable and located on the sea. Beach not really to visit (the Port City will most probably upgrade it in the future). Great breakfast (as ShangriLa has). Good in-house restaurants but expensive. The food was nevertheless very good. Nice pool on 4th floor. Extra services (transfers, spa , etc) way overpriced (transfer to airport was 75 usd quoted by the hotel while a reputable taxi Kangaroo company with invoice and metre took me to the airport for 23 usd). Conected to a Mall with lots of shopping oportunities.

Great, very new Hotel in great Location towards the attractions of Colombo with very clean rooms in a good size and great pools and many restaurants and bars. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel, from the great welcoming staff in the Lobby, to the Front Desk, to Housekeeping (Sanju in Floor 9 was great!), the Head Sommelier Wellington, the staff in the restaurants and bars, and all Security Guards and other staff throughout the Hotel. While the Hotel itself is great and on 5-Star level, the staff made the experience extraordinary. Staying here at the end of our two week Sri Lanka trip was a perfect last Sri Lanka experience.
