Beautifully decorated riad, great room (we had the blue one with the mezzanine), very quiet, comfy bed. The host is there to make sure you have an amazing stay with unlimited tea on the beautiful terrace. Would definitely recommend it.

Great location, perfect for exploring the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen, quiet, clean, super cozy and with a fantastic host! Mohamed was so helpful and kind, providing many nice local recommendations and making sure we enjoy our stay to the fullest. We especially enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with gorgeous views! Overall, an amazing stay, can only recommend and would definitely stay again!

The property is in a good location, 5-minute walk to the old Medina, on a terrace off the main road. So just a few steps to climb from the road. The room was clean and bright, the receptionist was friendly. He even helped me to arrange a transfer to the bus station on my day out.

Amazing apartment with beautiful Arabic architecture right in the middle of the old medina, close to everything, with a beautiful rooftop overlooking the city - great place to watch sunrise / sunset. Very lovely people Nortin and Wafi, who told us anything we needed they would help us. Gave us advice on how much to pay for things, good recommendations, and also helped us to change the time of our bus ticket at the last minute. They went above and beyond!

Location is amazing - within the old walls of the medina. Everything within a 10 minute walk, the main square a few minutes walk only. Easy to return if forgotten anything during the day or change of clothing. Lovely door step area with flowers so your own private place to take photos free of tourists! Spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable. Bottle of drinking water provided + can be refilled - just ask at breakfast. And lovely touches like Moroccan slippers to wear during the stay + local natural body oil in the bathroom. Very quiet at night - note close windows due to early call to prayer but aircon unit for heat or cooling. Host Omar super helpful + available by message at any time + attended to see me when I arrived early to facilitate an early check in + was made coffee to drink on the spectacular roof top with wonderful views whilst I waited despite that I was very early. Omar provided recommendations via message on places to visit, eat + a local hammam with maps links to the exact location. Accommodated an earlier breakfast too on my day of departure due to a coach reservation. Lady who cleans + makes breakfast so lovely + friendly despite our language barrier. Her breakfast was more than ample, fresh + delicious - local breads, churros, jam, honey, amlou almond butter, local cream cheese, olives, omelette, orange juice + tea/coffee. Cannot recommend this place highly enough- would definitely stay here on any return trips! Thanks a million,chokkran bzaf!

The owner Mr Said is very kind and helpful, he is helping us when we had problem with the luaggage delayed and mid-night check in, transfer arrangement, and also allow us to use the washing machine etc We are so appreciated.

My experience at Riad Palacio del Sol was simply wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by M. Barbara, who were attentive and caring throughout my stay. The beauty of the riad, with its traditional architecture and modern touches, immediately captured my heart. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. I especially appreciated the tranquility that reigns in this establishment—a true haven of peace after a day of exploring the vibrant city of Chefchaouen. Breakfast, served on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the mountains, was a real treat. The fresh, local products were delicious, and it was a joy to start the day this way. Additionally, the riad is ideally located, making it easy to discover the colorful alleys of Chefchaouen. The staff was also incredibly helpful in pointing out the best places to visit and the restaurants to try.
