My fiancé and I stayed at La Maison de Tanger for 4 beautiful nights. We were in Tangier for a wedding at Villa Mabrouka at the weekend, but came to stay at La Maison to get to know Tangier beforehand. The entire staff made us feel so comfortable and welcome, especially Sandra and Oussama who came to feel like friends very quickly. Our bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower very good, and the decor is absolutely gorgeous. We also took advantage of the hammam and had gommage and massage treatments which were really lovely and we’d highly recommend. It was hardly cold by English standards but as soon as the slightest chill hit the air a roaring fire would be lit in the dining room to make sure it was extra cosy. We liked it so much that on our final day, after the wedding, we came back to say goodbye and nurse our hangovers by the peaceful pool. The owners of the hotel also happened to be in town when we were visiting and seemed like lovely people, and it was a delight to experience in their Tangier dream!

Loved my recent stay with a friend at Villazancot! The property and its location was amazing. But what I loved the most, was the exceptional staff! So attentive and caring. Norbert food is amazingly delicious, and Salah is just the service person representation. He definitely loves what he does and he made our stay fabulous. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a clean place, decorated with taste, stunning location and super friendly, but yet respectful staff. We look forward to coming back.

One of the best places I have stayed in, and it helped ensure that Tangier was my favorite stop in Morocco. The location is unbeatable and the staff are simply the loveliest, kindest people. Breakfast (and welcome tea and snacks) were incredible. Anything you needed was organised and at a great price - they even arranged me a round trip taxi to Ceuta the night before and a taxi to the bus station at short notice. Very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated room, kitchen access and spotlessly clean bathroom. They refused to let me pay for a load of laundry. Thank you for everything!

What can I say.. everything was just exceptional. But what I mostly loved is how the staff is so caring and attentive. Everyone makes sure the stay goes smoothly. During our 18 days trip in Morocco, this is the BEST hotel we have stayed. The communication and the attitude of staff, the breakfast, the rooms are world class. To be honest, we stayed in a few similarly rated hotels across Fez, Marrakesh, Casablanca, and some towns in and around Merzouga. While those hotels were fine by Moroccan standards, many had issues — extremely small rooms in some riads, occasional smells, flies, and even a few sneaky hotel owners trying to push restaurant recommendations. It sometimes made me wonder if their ratings on Booking had been inflated. This hotel, however, truly lives up to its rating — and even exceeds it. I would highly recommend it.
