If you want to stay at a character property in yangon you have to stay here as the strand and the heritage have both been locked up and mothballed. Its a fun stay i really liked it. Photos on booking.com are 100% accurate. Location is fine its a bit of a walk to main part of old colonial yaangon but most people will get a taxi anyway. Overall highly Recommended Added text to review....another recent reviewer said they insisted on cash payment in usd every day and no card payments... well maybe but that doesn't atch my experience, i paid everything in kiat and I also saw another guest pay for drinks on a card

This hotel exceeded expectations with its modern design and exceptional cleanliness. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. The location seemed convenient based on reviews, though we didn’t get to fully explore the area as we had a car available. The standout feature was definitely the breakfast! The wide selection of delicious dishes, some substantial enough to be considered a full meal, was a delightful way to start the day. It added a memorable touch to our experience.

Three weeks before this stay, I was here for eight nights, and a mistake by the reception staff caused my deposit refund to take over a month. I complained about it, asked them to prevent it from happening again, and then stayed for three more nights. The manager who handled my case was extremely honest and straightforward. To apologise, they gave me a substantial room upgrade and Executive Lounge access. They went above and beyond, expressing their sincere apology by not even taking a deposit when I checked in and allowing me to pay the total room cost only upon check-out. I will certainly stay here again when I come back to Yangon, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for the best all-around hotel experience in the city.

The layout of the lifts has also been thought through. There is a separate low-level control for disabled people. The wifi connection is the fastest we have ever had in a hotel. We really liked the hotel, very friendly staff, the room was comfortable and very clean, there was hot water and electricity all the time, the location was good, the area was safe and picturesque. Breakfast is normal, there are dishes for every taste (portions to choose from, not a buffet, but there is enough food). The price is very reasonable for this level. I recommend this hotel. I liked everything, the service was good
