If this is a 2-star hotel then 5-star hotels in Maputo must be mindblowing. Here's what I liked: - Daily cleaning with complimentary water every day - The room has AC, hot water, and a smart TV (I never used it) - The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a situation where I was being severely overcharged in the city. I called the hotel and they called someone nearby to come sort the bill - that was very thoughtful. - The location is near banks and some restaurants.

Excellent place. Very good location between Baixa and Polana. Very very clean, everything was in order. Every time I was in Maputo I choosed 1109 Guest House and I tried 3 different rooms, all of them the same high standard and very cozy. My place in Maputo :) thank You very much

When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.
