It was very nice to get a friendly welcome from Andrea, Graeme and the pussy cats. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, so a pleasure to be in. A walk to the beach front and around the local neighbourhood was very enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet.

Hotel St Clair is located just 10 minutes’ drive from central Dunedin. Rooms include flat-screen satellite TV, en suite bathroom with under-floor heating and views of St Clair Beach.

We rented rooms overlooking the beach. It was quite nice listening to the surf! There are several restaurants nearby and we found them to be quite good for both dinner and breakfast.

Lovely comfortable room with everything you need for a few nights stay. Fabulous shower! Comfortable bed. In a good location for local amenities- shops, cafes and restaurants, close to a bus stop and a short walk to the beach. Would stay again and would recommend.

The guest house was beautiful right out of a picture! The breakfast was great with various options to choose from. The room was comfy and warm, just the way I like a room to be when traveling.I walked everywhere I wanted to be because I was living in the middle of everything, George street is amazing! I would definitely visit again and recommend Sahara Guest house to whomever is traveling to Dunedin.

Honestly, this was the best room I have ever stayed in. We were in the Studio Executive and we had all the comfort we needed and more: make up remover, washing dryer + laundry detergent… It was spacious, clean, new and… perfect! It was a true pleasure to stay in at night just to enjoy our room. Plus, Barry and Donna were just exceptionally kind and welcoming. If you’re in Dunedin, Amross Motel is a must!
