Carlos and his family are super nice and helpful. The location is very close to the bus stations, and walking distance to the historic center of Lima. There's a small kitchen to prepare food, and hot water in the showers. The single room upstairs opens to the terrace that has a nice view of the surroundings.

This apartment was just as advertised, and Laris was an excellent host. But first: WHAT A VIEW! The building is very new, so everything works. There was a large hot water tank, the bed was comfortable, the doormen were super friendly (no English spoken there, if that matters), all three elevators were quick, the kitchen had everything you need, and with the bedroom door closed, you could not hear a single sound from the outside, even on nights where there were parties in the streets with DJs playing until all hours of the morning. Laris (her English is fine) not only answered any questions I had – seemingly on demand – but had photos at the ready to further explain, including the price list for the laundromat across the street. Even with the supplied fan, it might get a little hot in the middle of summer, but I would certainly stay here again. One tip for visitors: if you’re not from Lima, you’ll probably be best served to download the Uber, or Cabify, or InDrive apps. Taxis here don’t have meters, and this takes the uncertainty out of price and also having to worry about the driver getting lost. You can either tie them to your credit cards, or pay cash.

The apartment is in a great location. if you’re not afraid of heights the balcony offers amazing views including the park with the fountain light show. soccer fans can see the national stadium. the apartment itself is well kept, clean and cozy. you will not be disappointed. I will definitely start here again!
