The Don Rafa is a beautiful hotel, very well appointed throughout, absolutely stunning decor. We booked the Miramar Jr Suite, and plenty of room with living area with refrigerator and great large tv and couch, and bed comfy. Aircon good and not noisy at all. Decent continental breakfast in lobby, and gorgeous rooftop pool and cabana area we wish we had made more use out of. Very good restaurant on site, and lots of close by restaurants and bars. Most of all we have to comment on the incredibly personable and friendly staff at the Don Rafa - all kind, funny, helpful and cheerful, always addressing you personally by name which really added the special touch. We felt very welcome and at home there, and would not hesitate to return if ever back in San Juan. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was big and clean. But what I loved about this hotel is that I had a problem with my credit card. And they were patient enough until I returned to Germany to sort it out with my Bank. Later, the transaction went through. Thank you for your patience.

We (family)came for one night before our cruise. Very correct small hotel,surprisingly clean and comfortable, good quality of breakfast , fresh and tasty served in the room. We were accommodated in a fair size studio with kitchen. Overall 👍👍👍

Great spot in Miramar!! It was wonderful for two weeks, walkable to a bunch of great restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, along with a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and in-unit laundry that made it all the more comfortable. The MADMi is also right around the corner!
