Great hotel near the sea... it's very big with different things to do there .. it has a few restaurants, a great outdoor swimming pool, great views from the main restaurant where I had my breakfast.. you could see the sunrise and the sea.. it's really really nice. Rooms were big and clean , bathroom was great as well. Room service was top notch , each day there were leaving extra snacks/fruits in my room, they were very attentive, the hotel is a bit expensive but it's worth it, you can't go wrong with it.

The staff including Managers were very pleasant, accommodating and spoke perfect english. We travelled with our family of seven using 3 rooms. The breakfast was fantastic offering, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, coffees and my favourite freshly squeezed orange juice to name a few items. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Separate large rooms for both the toilet and walk in shower. We had a great view of the sea port where the cruise ships were docked. The Vine has the best location in Funchal and is an easy walk to many attractions. This was my second visit to the Vine.

Cleanliness, perfectly equipped apartment, excellent communication with the owners, very simple check-in/check-out, awesome location - everything was very close from there and everything was within reach If we return to Madeira in the future, we will definitely be happy to stay here again:)

Everything! 3 double beds, 3 separate bathrooms, everything new! The host waited for us with traditional wine and a cake! Super cute! Very happy! Good location, can see the ocean thro the windows and terrasse.:)) we recommend it!
