The stay was phenomenal. The service from the staff was excellent. Special compliments to Marcos at the reception who was very kind and interested in helping with the choice of how to see the city, as well as compliments to Clara who is the PR of the hotel and a wonderful Fado singer who gives tourists an insight into the history and what Fado is. Every morning, the day begins with the sound of the piano and violin, so I recommend experience. The Palace Hotel has and is long owned by one family, and everything in the facility represents how it used to be in the old rich houses of Lisabon. It's like you're in a fairy tale.

Accomodations were first class. The patio was a real plus. The breakfast was exceptional. The big plus was staff. All very welcoming, particularly Samuel and Roderigo. They were a great help for our multi day stay.

Loved how spacious the place was and the balcony - really unusual to have a balcony like it in Lisbon. The bed was large enough for two tall people! The location is perfect, right beside nice brunch and dinner spots and interesting shops. Will be coming back!
