This is the place to be in Lissabon!!!!
We had a room with 2 floors, with a balcony into an unbelievable green backyard that nobody expects in the city.
The breakfast was outstanding and one choose to take it inside or in the green backyard. Beautiful to start or end the day like this! For the evening you can buy wine and drinks there at fair prices,
Rooms are clean and well kept and tell - like the rest of the house - a lot about singers and music of the old rock scene up from 1967. Wow.
The Tings is located at one from the famous view points over the city where-to Tucktuck drivers are bringing the people up for the sundowner - and we were living there 50 meters away! As this place is only busy around sunset one is not suffering from noise and crowds. For the rest of the day it is absolutely calm.
Another beauty is that you take the famous tram 28E as your transport vehicle going down and up to/ from the city. We never had a problem in entering in the morning or evening as " tourists " :-))) are frequenting it at peaktimes.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Bairro Alto, making it very convenient to reach the airport by metro or taxi. All major attractions are just a short walk away.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and both the hotel and the rooms are spotless. I stayed on the top (5th) floor in a room with a standalone bathtub, which was a lovely touch. The only minor issue was that the sound of the elevator at night could be heard, as the bed was positioned near the entrance.
Other than that, everything was excellent! I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and stay here again myself.

A lovely, comfortable and clean boutique hotel in the center of the city, walking distance from most sights. Fantastic team in the reception with Israel and Gabriel catering to our every need, super friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The welcome glass of portwine, free cake and coffee in the afternoon and excellent breakfast selection in the morning was also wonderful. One day we had to leave very early for a tour and they made sure full breakfast selection was ready 20 min earlier than usual, so that we could enjoy breakfast before our tour. Room was small but cosy and clean, bathroom was big, everything well furnished, comfortable bed and good lighting. We were very satisfied and will definitely return.
