All the staff were so friendly and helpful I really appreciated the recommendations I received when I checked in on surrounding places to visit. wide-ranging. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable with various high-quality pillows to choose from. I also loved having my bed turned down in the evening. The breakfast is delicious and wide-ranging to satisfy all palettes. We visited in February, so not balcony weather really. And yet it was mild enough one evening to sit out there briefly and enjoy the night air and view over Mariatorget. Thank you that there was furniture there and even flower boxes. All-in-all a fabulous stay. My husband and I regularly treat ourselves to long weekends away, testing different hotels in Stockholm, and Hotel Rival is one we will definitely return to.

Great choice, my family enjoyed this vacation! The hotel is very clean, great selection of food for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Location is great, and be sure to visit the hotel spa Elements, pool is amazing. We would definitely come again!

I liked the room, the comfort of the bed, the bathroom floor is warm, I liked the excellent service at the reception. I also liked that there was free coffee, tea, and water at the reception. I liked that the tram stop was in front, I also liked that there was a supermarket on the same block as the hotel.

If you’re looking for good value, budget level accommodation in Stockholm that’s a bit quirky, this is the place! The rooms are simple but comfortable, bathrooms are generally clean, and it was nice to be able to cook.

Very interesting and unique place to stay. Room was small but cozy and comfortable. Was really impressed with the quality of the breakfast that was included in the price of the hotel. Highly recommend!
