Location is walkable to beach. With a nice view of the sea from our room.

We stayed in the Upper pool access room. It was perfect. Very spacious room with all you could need. The stairs from the balcony go directly into the private pool. Staff were extremely courteous and kind. Rooftop bar has a happy hour and delicious and substantial cocktails. Dinner is also served up there. Breakfast buffet was excellent and comprehensive. We will definitely stay here again.

Best hotel and staff in Krabi. It is not at the beach, but the place is beautiful near to the cliffs. Hotel provides free shuttle to the beach. The breakfast is amazing! They are currently renovating, so there was no spa service, but they could offer you some salon. Rooms are big, roomservice is available until 8 pm.

I like very much on the professional services provided by the front end with a lots of smile and respect. They know customer very well and their services are amazingly awesome. The environment made us feel at home. The room is super clean and in order,

This hotel looks like it was taken from a movie scene. If you're looking for partying, night clubs and buzz with friends, don't come here, as there is nothing to do after 10pm. But if you're looking for some peace, quiet, meditation, relaxation, 10/10 this is the place to come to. Framed by tropical forest, on one side, and by a paradisiac beach on the other, you feel immersed in some sort of Blue Lagoon movie. The hotel is small sized, not many rooms which allows the perfect conditions for a restful and peaceful stay. The breakfast is served in a gorgeous restaurant on the beach where you can contemplate the sea with the scenic longtail boat. When I thought this would only be result of photoshoped pictures, this hotel just proved me wrong. Cleanliness is of the highest standards. The room is gorgeous, super comfy and the bed is amazing. There is free Nespresso coffee in the room (important, as it's not so common in Asia). If you like asian (and in particular thai) food, you must try the hotel restaurants. Food is superb, delicious and (despite no being cheap according to Thailand standards) it is still cheap as per european standards. There is also italian restaurant with very good pasta, risotto and pizzas (surprisingly). Finally, and most important of all, the service is truly 5 stars. All the staff is so delicate, so kind, so humble. They will always stop what they are doing to say hello as you pass by and they will do anything to solve any query you have. On our particular case, we had a big issue upon arrival in the airport, where we were left with no taxi and no option to come to the hotel, at night (as Krabi goes to sleep at 10pm) and Tubkaak managed to get us a taxi in 20min. To the hotel: never cease to provide highest standards of service. Summary: I've been to many 5 stars hotels but this is definitely the best hotel and best holidays I've ever had in my life. Strongly recommend.

Everything about the property was perfect.......perfect location....perfect staff.....perfect food.....perfect ambiance.....perfect hospitality. Our holiday was just PERFECT !! Our room overlooking the sea was just beautiful. The room was spacious and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and homely. The reception staff was very friendly and checked us in real quick. Gave a lovely tour of the property and explained all the facilities very patiently. The food of both the restaurants was very delicious.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights and after the first day we extended our stay by 7 more nights as we loved the feeling we got about Varana. The design of the bedrooms and the buildings overall were stunning and very unique - artistic and minimalist. The lay out of the bedrooms and facilities is also really nice- feels like a village filled with staff who always greeted us so warmly on every occasion. The facilities including an Olympic pool and gym were amazing and truly state of the art. What we loved most was the ethos and culture in Varana, one that made this resort feel like a holistic rejuvenation of mind, body and soul rather than just another resort like many others. The focus on holistic health was evident in the design of the menus and the breakfast buffet which offered fresh Thai teas tailored to different ailments such as bloating and indigestion, the relaxing spa and smell of beautiful aromatherapy oils, the onsen, the daily physical activity schedule including paddle boarding and aqua aerobics suited to all levels, the comfortable spaces to sit and lounge by many pools, not to mind the unique singing and chirping of birds in the morning and evening. The beach club nearby was also nice and we enjoyed some complimentary kayaking on the beach. It was truly a memorable experience for us and we already cannot wait to return.

The place is in great location five minutes walk from the night market but still very quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the staff was the best part about this place, the manager and her son welcomed us and helped us in everything we needed, from booking island trips and Farris to our next destination to laundry. It was great!

Such a hidden gem with views to die for! We loved how intimate the setting was even in peak season. We could easily stay there for a week! We rented out a 3-person kayak with reception and they told us about a hidden beach which was completely empty with a swing on the shore. Reception also recommended some amazing local eateries (Legacy and Mama Chicken) which were some of the best food we had in Thailand. Totally recommend to stay here during your trip to Krabi and will definitely come back next time
