It is a quite unique local property. My room looks like Aladdin. Also, the household is kind.

The property is very close to the Medina and even during the night, it’s very safe to come back home. Moreover, the rooms are very big and the hosts do whatever is in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They were always interested in how our stay was and provided as with water and coffee without asking. I rarely felt so welcomed to an accommodation before!
Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square.

Best place to stay in Tunis is the Medina and Dar El Jeld is the best place to stay in the Medina. Love the four fine chocolates in the room. Better than mint on a pillow.

I was very impressed with the check in process. I was greeted warmly and provided a nice glass of lemonade. The restuarant was nice and the service staff was extremely professional. Here is an example: I accidently dripped some sauce on my short and the server went quickly into the kitchen and brought back a cleanser that took the stain off.
There was a welcome basket of local fruit that was greatly appreciated and a thank you gift on check out (a locally made pottery dish).

The best accommodation we could have had! Clean room, delicious homemade breakfast, and the place is beautifully decorated. Ahmed is an excellent host, he helped in everything we needed to make our stay as smooth as possible and gave us recommendations for Tunis. If we come back, we'll choose the same accommodation for sure.

The apartment is excellent 👌 the only think is one toilet for three rooms but it wasn't a big think. Very clean place, very very close to Medina and the host was very kind and he responded to any message we sent him. I liked a lot the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very kind and welcoming, always available if needed. The house was perfect, exactly as shown in the pictures: clean, tidy, and very cozy. The location is quite convenient for reaching the main attractions. A big plus was the private parking inside the property, where we could safely leave our car. Highly recommended!
