It's a very nice hotel in the city center. I've got a free room upgrade to a beautiful suite and the staff was very friendly. Since I had to leave very early in the morning, I haven't tried the breakfast but I'm sure it will be good as well. Highly recommended!

The staff were amazing! They responded to all of my questions so fast. I had a free ferry pick up, and catered to our crazy flight schedule out at 2:30am. They made a fresh breakfast box for us and had everything organised for us. They were incredible and would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Convenient location in the old city quarter, helpful and friendly staff, good service. Twin rooms were sold out and instead we got two double rooms without any extra charge. Thank you Ahmed!

We had an amazing time staying here, the host, Mr. Brown, went out of his way. For just a small fee he would show us the city, as well as make us some good authentic food, both breakfast and dinner. We had great conversations with him about the city and the culture shared over dinner in their fabolous garden. He also helped us get tickets for the ferry to Zanzibar on our first day, which for a person that is new to the country and the culture can be quite challenging since the dock is quite chaotic. Overall a great pleasure staying at BabaJay family home, and I hope some day we can come back!
