The biggest 2 trumps of Mahali Zanzibar were the location and most importantly, the people! Firstly, it's located in the middle of everything, right on the beach and in the middle of Paje beach overlooking the ocean, just a few min walk away from the little market and grocery store. Secondly, the staff in Mahali - every single one of them was such a sweetheart! They were very welcoming and so personal and that in the most positive meaning of this word. People were always smiley, positive and always ready to help whenever you needed it. What's more, the place itself is really nice and clean as well and as I already said it had a nice view over the beach. The room was super spacious. They made our beds, changed towels and cleaned the room every day. This is all really nice! However, more of a luxury. We would have been totally fine with the same towels since it would be better to save water :D But all in all I don't whine.. The only thing that was little funny, not that it was something I did not like, but I was not used to this, was the breakfast. The food itself was delicious and you were able to order literally everything you wanted from the menu, but the way it was organised was strange. We knew that the breakfast was included in the stay, but they did not explain how does it work, if I was able to order a specific amount of items from the menu or there was no limit. Maybe this is something I would recommend them to rethink or at least explain to guests. After we understood though, we just ordered almost everything from the menu every morning. Just the first interaction with the staff at the breakfast table was funny. :)

Everything! Very helpful and kind Pia and her husband. Most wonderful beach. Delicious food and drinks. Free Masai show(very good). Free snorkeling mask. Free canoe. Free beach towel. The African Pradise Beach Hotel was literally PARADISE! Highly recommend this hotel. Most happy moments when we have a Tanzania honeymoon trip was this hotel. I got never forgettable memories.

Our experience with this hotel was the best part of our trip to Zanzibar. We initially booked five nights here and planned to move to Mala Boutique Hotel afterward. However, after seeing Mala, we decided to return to this hotel and were fortunate enough to stay until the end of our vacation, making it the most enjoyable part of our trip. We felt very safe and comfortable from the moment we arrived, thanks to the hotel’s excellent security measures. The service and staff were exceptional and the food was outstanding - the best we tried in Zanzibar. The high-quality materials, thoughtful design and smart decisions made by the hotel created an unforgettable experience. The owners, who are from Lebanon, have incorporated materials and design choices from the Middle East, giving the hotel a distinctive and elegant touch. Additionally, the hotel offers an electric shuttle to the beach, making access convenient and easy. If we ever return to Zanzibar, this will undoubtedly be the place we choose to stay again.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Loop Beach Hotel. From the moment our group arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I’d like to especially mention January, Lucy, and Veronica for their outstanding hospitality—though every single team member played a part in making the stay memorable. We loved everything! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely stay in the La Luna Apartments. We enjoyed the air conditioning, it is a must-have in zanzibar. The property has two swimming pools and a pool bar which was very nice. The restaurant has the best food! We also enjoyed the Swahili night, it was very fun and it was great trying a variety of swahili dishes. Will definitely recommend!
