We had a two bedroom place and the rooms were big and beds very comfortable. The kitchen had a generous offering of coffee, cream, and teas. Dining table and a sitting area. Nespresso machine is always a nice touch. Bathroom was big, with a separate shower and a tub. The location is right on the main street. (5 min walk from the closest parking)

    Excellent family run pension with a friendly cat (that will leave you alone if you want) right in the heart of Dürnstein. The room was plenty big, the staff was kind, the buffet breakfast was generous, but the best part (other than the cat) is the outdoor areas some of which offer views above the roofs of the town.

    Amazing hotel with great atmosphere. Everything was just wonderful. Lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. Staff in the restaurant was very kind, food was extraordinary and live music on Friday evening? What a nice surprise. Room and bathroom were like from the real castle. I was travelling with two kids and nothing was the problem, bed for the son, crib for the little one, they even got some nice presents. We didn't have time for swimming pool, but we will definitely try it next time.

    Breakfast was quite well sorted. Problems with the coffee machine solved quickly. The location in Duernstein is superb within an old castle. My room had a veranda looking over the castle garden on the east. Room was clean and functional.
