THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. It was amazing! Location is just stunning & we got great support with all needed. Living room, bathroom and outside furniture are bit used, but otherwise all was really great. We enjoyed every min of our stay.

We stayed in this cosy home from home apartment for 3 nights, it was a lovely place to stay. It was one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed in, our host Gabriele had really thought of everything! There is a restaurant within walking distance and several more in Ebensee itself which is a 5 minute car drive away. There is great walking in the mountains around and the lovely town Bad Ischl is 15 minutes by car. There were chocolates and Prosecco on arrival and homemade jam to take home at the end of our stay. Gabriele was always on hand for info about the area. Highly recommended!

    Very decent hotel. Without luxuries, the hotel is not the newest. But for that price I didn't expect it will be so nice. Big plus for kind staff, great breakfast (and kid's corner in the dinning room!) and of course localisation: we could walk to the lake, children's playground.
