Extensive network of footpaths and a local bus and train transport pass is available. It is family run and all the generations went out of their way to be welcoming. Extensive breakfast and the light meals available in the evening were ample and very useful as the accommodation is some way above the village. An excellent place to stay. Good bathroom. We arrived late in the evening on a very snowy day and were unable to reach the place without snow chains.
