Our experience was made exceptional by the manager Mr Zdeněk. We were visiting in the first half of May during the week, hence low season. We were hiking all day from Hnanice, and we needed to eat somewhere at Hardegg that evening. I was informed by the owner that there's limited availability of evening food at Hardegg due to low season. Mr Zdeněk was exceptionally welcoming despite of our delayed arrival (7:30 pm) plus he provided us with a meal of Hungarian sausages, fresh bread and beer! We were exhausted after our 28 km hike and it genuinely felt like we were saved by his hospitality. The following morning he made us exceptionally tasty breakfast. The accommodation is modern, spotless and very comfortable. But the biggest asset is undoubtedly the man, Mr Zdeněk, who runs it.

Franz and his wife are very pleasant couple. Even though there was quite big language barrier we all managed without a problem. Their garden is amazing and you can feel how much attention and love was put to create all of that. They prepared for us fresh and nutritious breakfast. The appartment where we stayed was very clean and tidy and since we travelled with small children it was such a pleasant surprise that there were even some toys in it. They live in a town or village where it's very easy to park.

Absolutely fantastic unconventional hotel with beautiful design, a combination of old historical elements and modern design architecture. Everything is very impressive. Self-checking is very easy, instructions are clear and understandable, a room card is then issued from the machine at the reception, everything is very comfortable and easy. Rooms are minimalist, very clean, water is available, beds are comfortable, bed linen and towels are pleasant and pure white. Fantastic restaurant on the roof of the hotel with a view of the vineyards, roofs of houses, old walls and the castle. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, a large selection of everything, the staff is very friendly, helpful and smiling. An interesting element are the design paintings of an Austrian painter. Overall, the accommodation exceeded our expectations, thank you.
