We walked from there to Zotter Chockolade on a route recommended by the owners, and had an amazing trip. Even saw some deers. The vinyard is beautiful, the wine is great (grape), and the hosting family are lovely and caring. Apartment is also beautiful with a high level of equipment. Everything top quality throughout the accommodation. The village was wonderfully quiet, with a small but well-stocked shop, a basic pub and an hourly train to the city of Graz. A good base to explore this lesser-known region of Austria, provided you have a car. Tip: a pleasant 30 minute walk along quiet lanes takes you to the Buschenschank of Erich Christiner, with excellent and affordable wines and food.
