It was an absolutely lovely stay. The apartment is very cosy, spacious and spotless clean. It is been thought through into detail and is equipped with many details that make your stay very comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The location is great for trips in Waldviertel. It was our first holiday with our baby boy (3 months old) and we were very comfortable in the apartment with him and made many trips to the region. We came by train from Vienna and it was within a walking distance from the train station.

If you want to visit major sights and towns in the Waldviertel area, then this is the perfect central location to head out for day trips. This was my third time staying at Spitaler apartments, including twice with my wife and daughter, and we are looking forward to booking here again whenever we visit the area. We highly recommend it!

We arrived late in the evening and our keys were hidden in a little locker outside of the house. It is clever. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. In the morning we enjoyed buffet breakfast. The offered food was fine. We had planned to visit the Sole-Felsen-Welt and the owner offered us a voucher with a better deal than if I buy it at the spa. Which was nice and convenient.
