Dinners in the restaurant on the first flor where one of the best which we ever had in any of hotels, great wines. Amazing, brand new spa. Very clean room and hotel. United KingdomEverything was perfect. The view from the house was stunning with the lake and imposing mountains. You could sit on the terrace and have your breakfast looking at the incredible view. The house was very well equipped and pretty. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They picked us up from the train station. It was a short walk to the lake where you could swim. The village of Traunkirchen was not far to walk and from there you can catch a boat to Gmunden. They are a few cafes in Traunkirchen too. Traunkirchen is a pretty little village. It was nice to get away from the crowds in Vienna.

- apartment is new, modern and really big - perfect for 5 people
- the host was really helpful with the check in process

Czech RepublicAmazing hotel with a wonderful view of the Alps. I was incredibly surprised. The room was absolutely perfect, the shower and toilet were clean and it smelled good. The possibility to choose what I want for breakfast is a big +. In the room is the opportunity to have tea, coffee. Overall I am 100% satisfied and will definitely come back for a longer stay. There is a huge amount of activities in the area.

Owner family very friendly and helpful to recommend activities around (like hiking to Feuerkogel or to enjoy skywalk on Grunberg) . Hotel is "green" sustainable energy production. By recommendation of Josef (owner), we travel to Hallstatt via train where train station is just 5min walk. The guest house is in the best location, shop, restaurant, bus stop nearby, you can also swim in the lake not far away. The owners are very friendly and if desired there is fresh milk and eggs available. The view of the lake from our appartement was superb. Kitchen is well equipped. Kids were able to toboggan down a hill right behind the house. There are a lot of board games to enjoy, a welcome reprieve from the video games.
