Amazing recently refurbished hotel in American River. The rooms were spacious and super comfy beds. We actually spotted the glossy black cockatoo from our balcony. The hosts were super friendly and served a delicious breakfast every morning and we went for their 7 course fine dining for dinner where we got to watch sunset and was the best meal we had on the island hands down

    Very friendly family running the small hotel, great breakfast and one of the best places for having dinner in the island (they serve a 7 course meal; you have to book first). It’s only half an hour away from the ferry (Penneshaw).

    The view was amazing and close proximity to the lake. We were greeted on arrival as if we were family coming to stay. The breakfast was included and we were invited into the owner’s beautiful dining room which was floor to ceiling windows amazing

    The team were so friendly and the coffee and breakfast was very much appreciated! Thanks for being so welcoming to our baby! The view from our room was beautiful and such a central location to lots of places on the island.
