The kitchen had all the essentials and everything was in good working order - potato peeler and knives were sharp! The beds were very comfortable with fresh linen and electric blankets. Both bathrooms were spacious and modern. We really liked the fireplace and there was plenty of wood to keep it going during our stay. The kitchen was super well stocked! The air-con unit was nice and strong and heat up the living area nice and quickly. Fireplace was also lovely and there was heaps of firewood. Everything was super clean. Internet worked without any issues. We had 2 toddlers on our trip and we found it to be quite kid friendly (nothing to break or loose/open electrical cords). It’s such a peaceful serene house with lovely garden and everything is so thoughtful. The local produce left for us (that was the most amazing bread ever, you made a German family very very happy!!) was plenty for a great breakfast and fresh coffee, we didn’t even use much because we brought so much of our own food! Kids enjoyed the firepit for roasting marshmallows, corns and sweet potatoes, and they loved the company of Freddy-owner's dog( Thank you Trish for trusting my kids being around Freddy) It was a nice retreat for myself to embrace nature, clear mind 😉 and prepare myself for more challenges :0Guest review byEileenFamily with young children

Owners have gone above and beyond with inclusions of pantry staples, toiletries, books, games, fire wood, everything you need to cook with. You can comfortably walk around the property and get so close to the sunset, feels like you could touch it. Sat around the fire pit for hours with the kids toasting marshmallows.
