it was such a nice place to stay in Port Douglas if you have a car! close to the center (10 minutes) and close to the wildlife habitat! the staff was so nice and there was everything in the apartment! the swimming pool was really nice!

We absolutely loved our stay at Paradise Escape! The room was amazing - spacious, clean, comfortable - and the bathroom & spa was very grand. In summary everything went well - it was a wonderful experience overall! Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

The Hills is in fabulous location with expansive views. The interior is spacious and the balcony has great views of the beach and forest. Being higher than the town a cool breeze is welcome and the complex is well maintained and serviced. The pool was immaculate and there is good parking..
