Absolutely lovely B&B for a gorgeous getaway. Kim was hospitable and warm, and even offered to upgrade our room! We came with our 3yo, and he loved exploring the surrounding, visiting the chicks, goat and sheep. We made a small dinner in the common kitchen which was nicely equipped! Breakfast was delicious, with homemade breads and eggs from the chicks. Thanks again Kim for a beautiful stay. Will come back.

I spent two nights at Oscar's on the Yarra, from 11 to 13 December, and had a truly pleasant experience from start to finish. The hotel exudes charm with its heritage style, elegant details, and welcoming atmosphere, tastefully furnished in a way that evoked old-world charm and immediately brought to mind some of the elegant country estates one often encounters in adaptations of Agatha Christie's works. My room, though small, was meticulously clean and thoughtfully appointed. The added touch of coziness and vintage ambiance gave the place a character all its own - both timeless and inviting. One of the most pleasant moments of our stay was spent on the balcony overlooking the hotel’s peaceful scenic grounds, with a great view of the Yarra River. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, enjoying the quiet surroundings, and listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Each morning began with a fresh, delicious breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and served with great attention to detail. Dinner with Christine and Jason was equally delightful, and the engaging conversation made the experience even more memorable. Many thanks to Christine and Jason for their warm hospitality and wonderful company during my stay. Their friendliness and dedication to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment made all the difference. I had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again.

Great property and well maintained. So clean, even the underside of the decking areas had been cleaned! The hot tub was amazing and thanks for leaving it on ‘auto’ so it was ready whenever we wanted to use it! Really friendly communications and hassle free! We’ll be staying again! The dogs loved it too!

The beds were incredibly comfortable! The rooms were warm, cosy and had a subtle softness to them with a variety of features. The location was lovely as we had a balcony and were surrounded by trees and nature. The rooms were clearly renewed. It was an excellent and cosy stay.

Never expected this place would be like this for the price i paid , Went with my family including my intended Daughter in law who visited us from Sri Lanka, we were sad to leave the place spending one night. it was very easy to find the place and the instructions/guidance pasted from the main door to the restroom or on the coffee machine made so informative and easy, user friendly. the owner had gone in to so much detailed to make a stay so convenient and comfortable. If you are a book worm dont take any as there is some thing for every one , the view from the balcony in the morning the greenery reminded me of Sri Lanka So much to say.. One of the BEST places we have ever been We all felt Its a "Home away from Home.." Will surly be back .. all the very best to Olga

Simple, but that's all we needed. We could have easily fit our whole family (2 adults 2 kids) into one room with some kind of roll out bed as the rooms were big enough, however we had to book 2 separate rooms. I will know for next time.

Great facilities and a clean house. We were a group of 3 families staying here and the 2 kitchens made meal time stress free. The beds were great and the kids room was a showstopper. Will be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous house. Loved the mountain view and resident kookaburras. There are so many toys, board games, books and a billiard table to keep the whole family entertained. Our child loved playing with the toys. Kept them occupied for ages. It is located just a few minutes by car from restaurants, shops which was very handy.

Them having a bidet was the best thing ever! It is hard to find a accommodation with that in Melbourne. Clean and beautiful! I really felt like I was living in a luxurious campsite. Stayed with my toddler and family and all was good. They had all kitchen appliances to prepare food. Just head down to a local grocer and you can fix yourself a warm meal.

Great location, close to town. The owners were lovely & very welcoming. It was a budget room as described, but the room was super clean with funky little styling touches. The bed was comfortable, fresh & warm. Big soft towels!

Management and staff are highly attuned to delivering a top-quality hospitality experience. This is a family-run business and their care and concern for guest comfort is evident from arrival to departure. The riparian setting on the upper reaches of the Yarra River is immediately inviting and relaxing. Ideal for short breaks for couples and small families.
