Loved every minute of this stay. It's off the beaten track with a short distance to the local market. Largely secluded, however looks like a few neighbours are moving in with their own cabins going up. If you're doing any of the surrounding hikes, or just running out from the world, this is a perfect location. The view over the deck in the morning or evening is awesome, as is that leather couch of 'crashing' after a long day of hikes. Full kitchen, well furnished, just pick up your shopping on the way.

The stay at the Ruby’s cottage pyt pur trip of Tasmania into a totally new level. Magnificent surroundings, great facilities, warm welcome. Rhos was just a perfect stay. We appreciated the care pf the hosts. The games and toys available for our kids make their stay also more joyful. The meeting of the caws was something exceptional. We really enjoyed also the late evening around the fire pit. A truly exceptional play to stop on Tasman peninsula.

    The view from the balcony is exceptional! We pretty much loved everything about this cottage. The property is set up perfectly to have a view wherever you are. It has a nice kitchen stocked with the essentials, and a TV with fun dvds to watch with the family. There is a lovely path down to the water where our kids had a great time looking at shells and hopping on rocks.

    Gorgeous little cottage, well equipped with mod cons including coffee machine and washing machine/dryer, which were welcome! Love the little walk to the water - kids found some cool shells. Loved that there were board games and puzzles to keep little ones busy. Highly recommend and wish we had stayed longer!

    Staying at Chill Tasmania was above what we expected! Rod was thoughtful, when there was a power outage and communicated extremely well, the house was very clean and well presented, it was warm and cosy, with plenty of space for a young family to play and relax. We would recommend this property to anyone staying on the peninsula! Thankyou!

    Don't let the name Shack put you off! Out of the 7 places we stayed in Tasmania this was one of our favourites. It was beautifully decorated inside and the gardens were gorgeous. The view from the spa was fantastic! We had so much fun singing away with their karaoke machine. Sadly we only had a one night stay. Wish we'd have been there longer.

    Beautifully decorated and very clean spacious house. Bathrooms were excellent - fortunate enough to have two of them as there were 2 couples staying here. Well equipped kitchen - easy to self cater. Decent sized laundry. Great water views from the large and comfortable family room. Rod the owner provided very helpful advice about the area.
