Although the hotel is not in the old city, it is close - walkable - and you can see the fortress from the river-facing rooms. I found the hotel to be immaculately clean and, rare in Bosnia and Herzegovina, SMOKE FREE. Every staff member we met tried his or her best to go above and beyond in terms of friendliness and helpfulness. The breakfast was really good especially for such a small hotel. In a way, although this is a motel, it felt more like a bed and breakfast. Parking is available for no charge which is a bonus! I would certainly recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
