There is parking and we had a hire car which made travel around the island easier. Crane beach is beautiful but wilder than the calmer west coast beaches. We extended our stay due to hurricane beryl - changed from a traditional style to contemporary style room. I wished we could have extended our stay.Hot/cold water in all taps..A/C in bedrooms were a plus as temperatures hit over 30s⁰C. Easy access to public transport which is fairly efficient. ($3.50BD per person any stop )Furniture and beds were so comfy we fell asleep after a long day of sightseeing. We particularly appreciated being met and driven to the Pool House once we arrived. Nothing was a problem and Anthea organised a highly competitive car hire for us. We especially loved the pool; the veranda; and the AC. Our hosts two dogs - Lucky and CoCo - became part of the family - and we loved their company as much as they seemed to love being around us.
