As they receive you into their home, they will show you the facilities, explain everything you need to know, and then wait for you for a welcome drink. The will share their knowledge of the city and its history, give you directions and make you feel comfortable. Then there is the breakfast, with homemade jam, fresh fruit and local products, it was just perfect. On top of everything, my son loved spending some time in the yard, both playing and looking at the robot cut the grass.

We chose this place as a base location to travel around by motorcycles, 30 mins from mons, 30 from Valenciennes and some absolutely gorgeous hidden gems so easily accessible. We didn’t eat at the restaurant due to husbands complex dietary requirements but the room and breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast was set out each morning by a lovely lady who always checked we had everything we needed and cleaned our room each day.
