Tongeren is the most beautiful historical town, we loved and visited all of the roman history and museums and this accomodation was perfectly placed for that. The heritage of this part of town is gorgeous with walking paths and gardens, canals and roman walls. The accomodation is 3 levels on the ground floor a lovely entry to hang coats/shoes etc and a beautiful dining area over the cobblestone pathway, the kitchen is generously stocked with loads of coffee and everything you need just like you would have at home and unlike many holiday rentals. Also on the ground floor is a toilet room and large perfectly equipped laundry which we appreciated and even a separate freezer, The accomodation is modern but retains all of the charm that matches the town, the neighbourhood is very old some home displaying dates of medieval origin. The next level is the lounge area, tv and balcony and large gorgeous resort style bathroom with amazing bath and big open windows to the fresh air and the bird life. The balcony at the front of the townhouse overlooks the trees , old properties and you can people watch as you enjoy a coffee, we loved this every day. The top level is the 2 bedrooms the steps are old style, the depth of the steps is probably not enough for most feet so take care. Lovely upstairs again the loft style windows , fans available for cooling. The hosts were very generous thank you to them for making our stay special, wifi excellent. Good lighting throughout. Very quiet location. Dont miss the sunday antique fair look it up its amazing.

The room is big and quiet! The bed is very comfortable! The washing room is big too. Clean everywhere. Hotel gave us a small Champagne for gift that's very nice! I would like to stay next time.

From the moment I entered this hotel, I felt a very good impression from the hotel owner couple who greeted me with a very friendly smile and greeting, and I was able to relieve the fatigue of the trip thanks to the beautiful hotel decoration and comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best meals we had on this European tour, the hotel staff was very friendly and overall it was a fantastic place. I strongly recommend this hotel!

The apartment is located right in the heart of Tongeren, in the beautiful Begijnhof. The place itself is absolutely stunning! The apartment and the host, Antje, were simply wonderful. She pays great attention to detail, welcomed us warmly, prepared delicious breakfasts, even left us little gifts, and gave excellent tips on what to see and do. We were lucky to be there on a Sunday, when the city center turns into a huge flea market — such a fantastic experience! The apartment itself is perfect: the bed is very comfortable, and there’s everything you need to prepare meals — the kitchen is fully equipped. Truly, every detail has been thoughtfully arranged to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Another big plus is the free spacious parking nearby. And in just half an hour by car, you’re already in Maastricht. Thank you, Antje, for a perfect stay!
