Well even if the price is a bit higher, that depends on guests buying power, this stay was great. What you get for what you pay is exceptionally great. Also, the communication from the start, until you leave the object was great, and everyone was helpful. Hill House is located at the entry into the old town, and it is definitely a great location, besides that, they have a great buffet breakfast, and everyone is willing to help, they even provided us with information on what to visit, which restaurants are good, and which locations are great. Besides our stay in Hill House, the whole old town of Plovdiv was great, I would definitely suggest visiting Street of Crafts. Also, an amphitheater from the Greek/Roman period, as well as Kapana (if I am not wrong this should represent the process of slow-cooking meat, so I am assuming that this part of the town was named because it was once recognizable by restaurants with great cuisine), which is full of interesting restaurants and cafes. For the fans of the TV Show "Friends" there is a Central Perk cafe, and I can say they have a really good beer (named Central Perk), also we did not enter the object, we were sitting outdoors, but seems that object is full of "Firends" related stuff and theme. We stayed at the beginning of November and we explore this city a lot, but maybe November is not the month that will show you how this city can shine. I would recommend late spring/beginning of the summer (at least we are planning to go there again) This city was the European Capital of Culture back in 2019. Definitely one worth visiting!
