We loved the ambience, view of ocean and of cruise ships docking and leaving, the landscape and facilities. The turndown snacks were a lovely surprise. We looked forward to them. The hotel was great, the location was downtown Nassau, so there were several cruise ships in the area per day. When I checked in, I was visibly upset as I had transferred from a stay at an apartment, hosted by a private host. I only stayed the 1 night as I had an awful experience, made worse the morning I was leaving as I had only booked the British Colonial the night before. The lady at reception could see I was upset and asked if there was anything she could do, she allowed me to check in much earlier than the scheduled time.
