The chalet was clean, well designed and very comfortable. All employees were super friendly, extremely helpful and honestly very interested in their guests well-being. The house boat on the river was a cool place to sit and relax. Game drives and boat cruises with knowledgeable guides are offered in-house as well.

Everything. We have been travelling for 2 years and hardly ever do we give 10/10 as there’s always something that could be better. Not here!! Secure parking - always very important for our motorbikes. Room - cannot fault it. Our own little home from home. Every detail has been thought about as if the room has been lived in by the owners, not just turned into a guest house. The bed was super comfortable and large, comfy armchairs, good working desk, fabulous wardrobe and storage including hangers!! There was also a patio where we could sit outside. Loads and loads of power sockets all round the room and in convenient places. We had no trouble charging anything at all. Bathroom was beautiful and the shower fantastic. All toiletries provided and super thick towels. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order and hot! Lumba is a lovely person and fabulous host. She couldn’t do enough for us and looked after us extremely well. We felt like a part of the family. We extended our stay and stayed for five nights in the end. Such a wonderful place.

Everyone was extremely friendly and have accommodated us perfectly! I asked them to help me set up my marriage proposal and they went above and beyond to help me. We had private activities for our full stay and they helped organize a romantic sunset boat tour for my proposal. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Jackalberry Chobe Lodge, amazing people, beautiful views, the pool was great, the food was great and the activities were well organized, always on time. The perfect way to visit the Chobe region!

The host Dan and Jenny are awesome people. Doing their best to make your stay more comfortable. Room was clean, comfortable bed and clean linen. Short drives to the shopping mall. Decor in the room is okay. I will definately return to this guest house

Lovely staff who will take fantastic care of you and and make you feel comfortable! The food is great, and the gardens are just marvellous. You will have your breakfast with an amazing view by the swimming pool. As this is outside Kasane it is very quiet and relaxing, the perfect place to wind down. We even got an upgrade to our rooms and saw lots of elephants from the balcony. We cannot recommend them enough!

Compared to the lodges around the area this lodge offers great value for money. It’s kitchen is fully equipped, the apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable, bed is with mosquito net, spacious, well-lit, helpful and polite staff! The place is next to supermarket and gas station so it’s also quite convenient.
