We just loved the whole Chateau Vaudreuil experience from having the front door opened for us, greeted by a lovely staff member in the beautiful foyer (sorry I don't remember her name), checked in seamlessly, and shown to our room. The bed was sooo comfortable, absolute luxury,, honestly, we didn't want to get out of the bed!! We had our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner in the restaurant and once again, just stunning. We couldn't have chosen a more special place to celebrate, and our three nights stay will be with us for a long time to come.

This cozy little home truly has everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, and the attention to detail is noticeable from the moment you walk in. Just 20 minutes from the airport, it’s a perfect spot if you need lodging in the greater Montreal area. When we mentioned a small issue with insects by the door, the owner immediately came by with a solution in hand. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and the host is quick to respond to any request. I gave this exceptional rating because I was given room Nr. 23, which is the only room with balcony, situated towards the garden and lake, very quiet, with good possibilities for fresh air through the balcony door, everything was perfect. Breakfast is simple (continental) downstairs and consists of cereals, toast bread, butter, marmelade, cocoa cream, tea, coffee, juice etc. and can be self-made anytime, even at 4am. Good parking right in front and free of charge. I liked the village atmosphere and calmness (but may be too far from Montreal, but for my purpose it was OK).

The property was clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was welcoming, and all the amenities were exactly as described.

The apartment is a semi-basement with a separate front entrance from the main house, little patio in front and a parking spot. It is in a quiet residential area near a river with walking and bike path. There's even a little beach by the river which is a 15 minute walk. The main street is 2 blocks away where you can find groceries, gas, restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable with a separate bedroom, spacious bathroom with a shower and a full kitchen. The refrigerator wasn't working properly so the host called a technician but he could only come 2 days later. It was hot and humid those days and we were afraid our groceries would go bad but our host said they would find a solution and to our amazement they brought us a brand new fridge the same night. The hosts were very nice, the apartment was comfortable and it felt like home. We would definitely stay again.

Staff who dealt with me regarding the time we wished to leave our room the next morning was friendly and very accommodating with our request. Enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant although I would recommend a choice of the size of portions, perhaps small or large as I dislike leaving food that will be wasted.
