Everything was perfect I will come back to the Old Library Lodge. Maria was a great host, the location is perfect for one's seeking a calm retreat and the lodge exceeded all my expectations, clean, spacious, decorated with taste and as the name says full of book shelves for everyone to read

I don’t really have the words to express how truly extraordinary our stay here was! The container itself is beautiful, peaceful, incredibly clean, and the facilities were fantastic. It’s right on the lake, with paddle boards and kayaks freely available to use (there’s a beautiful creek you can paddle to and see the most wonderful wildlife). The bed gets a special mention- honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I don’t know what the bedding was made of but it was like being wrapped in a cloud. Now for the true highlights- the hosts Tracey and Anibal. I had injured myself quite badly the day we arrived and they could not have done enough to support us and make sure our stay was comfortable. They were the most generous, kind people I have met in all my years of travelling- you don’t want disaster to strike, but when it does- you want hosts like these guys to help you on your way! Thank you for everything, and for letting us stay in your beautiful space.

    I arrived late and left in the morning. Access was easy and one of the hosts came out to greet me and make sure I made it into my room ok. Room was large, comfortable and clean. The pool and grill areas looked like a fun place to hang out - which I would have if I had time.

    Best place every for family vacation. Because it used to be a school, it has literally everything a kid could want to play with. Great for grownups too. Owners are very congenial and do a great job of taking care of the place and its guests.

    The room size, pool, hot tub, loaner Canoes’s and basketball courts were great for a family stay. Location right by the lake and the hosts Sandor and Eva were incredibly helpful and kind. Also very clean!

    We were big fans of the hot tub! It was perfect for a night under the stars. The whole concept is great I had actually been to the school when it was still functional so it was such a cool experience to spend a couple nights! We didn’t get a chance to try the food but they were supper nice! The rooms are also beautiful and the bathroom was super cute! Definitely a must for anyone’s valley stay!

    The hosts were very communicative and check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and updated. We were very comfortable as a family of 4. We had plans outside of the motel so didn’t have a chance to try the cafe but it looked good :)
