Beautiful hotel in idyllic village in the alps. Very kind friendly staff. the range of food was huge but I went for the excellent bistro menu. fabulous breakfast. Dreamy walk in the hills. really recommend!

There is safe storage for bikes and a workshop with tools. There are also e-bikes which guests can use free of charge, ideal for getting in to the town (which is otherwise a 12 min walk) or generally exploring Olten. The B&B is at the end of a quiet street in a residential area. The rooms are small (the bathroom is tiny) but everything is clean and well-organised. Each room also has outdoor seating. Wifi works well. Breakfast is self-service with a good selection to choose from, and there is an honesty bar if you fancy drinking a cold beer in the garden. Reto is friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here if I come to Olten again. It's very good value for money and has everything I need.

From the outside, it looks like many other Swiss guest houses, but once inside, you realise how nice it is. The staff are friendly. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom and a large patio. The food in the restaurant was much better than we expected while still being a reasonable price. In summer you can eat outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was also excellent. There are many great hiking trails close by.

The location is perfect for us. We can reach Basel in 30 minutes by car. There is parking space at the private ground. The apartment with good internet connection is spacious, quiet , safe, comfortable and has everything for a short stay. The host family living in the same building can be reached easily when we have questions and need help. The two dogs are cute and adorable.

I used Olten as a base for two days of train excursions. This hotel is very near to the old part of town and the wooden bridge over the Aare River. It was a fifteen minute walk to the railway station. It was a forty minute train ride to Zürich/Zürich Airport, and in the other direction, a similar time to Bern. The room offered had plenty of room, was very clean and had all facilities that I required. Wifi was very good. The breakfast was of continental style, with lots of variety. All staff members encountered were friendly and very helpful. I would use this hotel again.
