Perfect location in the hearth of the mountains! Views! Sunset! All included in the price, except for weather, but we were lucky :) Very good food at the restaurant. In fact, this is rather a mountain hotel, not just a hut. Just have in mind, that you shouldn't miss the last cable car from Grindelwald Terminal, otherwise you won't easily get there and you risk that the reception will be closed. Of course, there is not much to do than enjoying the quiet evening in the mountains after the last gondola stops operating. But this is an advantage! Tip: if you want to go back on the next day to Grindelwald, don't go directly from the top. First take a walk to Kleine Scheidegg which is very easy and extremely beautiful. Then you will have two options: either take a train, either continue hike.

Everything was perfect. They had the best service we have ever experienced, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were one of the friendliest people i’ve ever met, the bartender even teached us how to play pool! the place was so nice and clean, the beds were so comfy, and the balcony had the best view of the mountain, we felt really welcomed, they even gave us free welcoming drink and cake and when we checked out they give us free water bottles and chocolate and a ride to the train station.. Honestly worth every penny, BEST HOTEL EVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! :D

The 125-year-old Hotel Gletschergarten with its magnificent mountain and glacier view is personally run by the 4th and 5th generations with a lot of commitment.

This accomodation was INCREDIBLE! Although it is at the top of the hill you can usually catch the bus back up if you don’t have a car. The staff were so friendly asking us about our day and providing us with all the details to support us on our holiday. I would stay there again 10/10

It was a very special place for me with an authentic traditional Swiss feel to the house. It had plenty of space (especially for me as I stayed here alone) and the most spectacular view to the mountains outside. You’ll not want to leave this place!

I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. The breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food to choose from. - Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The public kitchen is big and equipped with a complete set of tools you can use. Like all kinds of glasses, dishes, utensils, pots, and even an oven. Best shared kitchen I ever seen. Plus the Mountain view outside the window is invincible, if you are looking for a lifestyle vacation in the area, this is your best choice. The balcony is also HUGE. We bought groceries from coop and made ourself a simple meal on the balcony and it was AMAZING!
